Original painting in acrylic on board. This is part of an evolving series of fruit paintings inspired by the artist’s reflections on the pandemic. Earlier fruit paintings were very dark and solitary. Here we see two figs together, in a lighter, more reflective setting. The word Duet was chosen to reflect a dance with two characters.
