I love the vibrancy of poppies which self-seed and reappear in the garden each year, giving a splash of vibrant colour amongst the green foliage. In this poppy painting I have emphasised their vibrancy and fragility in my choice of colours: hot pink papery petals against the fresh, pale pink and blue background.
