Small, Himalayan Poppies inspired this painting showing multi-tonal coloured poppies in pink, red and purple against a pink background, painted in impasto style. It has a sister painting called Himalayan Poppies on Green. This is part of an evolving series of poppy paintings inspired by varieties grown in my garden.
