In Quiet Agreement
Seeing the extraordinary in ordinary objects such as pears is what I have sought to highlight in this painting. By teaming a simple pair of pears with a gilded background, I believe it elevates their intrinsic beauty. The subjects appear to be resting against each other, in quiet agreement, hence the title. We all need someone to lean on!

The artwork has been sealed with 3 coats of professional artist varnish to stop discolouration, and to protect it from UV light and dust. It is sold framed in the white, wooden, ‘St Ives’ style double frame made by my expert framer in Bristol.
