Seeing the extraordinary in ordinary objects such as pears is what I have sought to highlight in this large painting. A simple pair of pears is elevated with a gold leaf background, to highlight their intrinsic beauty. The subjects appear to be supporting one another.

The artwork has been sealed with 3 coats of professional artist varnish to stop discolouration, and to protect it from UV light and dust. It is sold framed in the white, wooden, ‘St Ives’ style double frame made by my expert framer in Bristol.
