These family favourites come in such gorgeous colours that they found their way in to my studio and this is the result!

Painted in layers of acrylic paint, I have paired the pink, yellow and black sweeties with a neutral background to give a fun yet restful composition.

This is framed in the ‘St Ives’ style without glass, so the textures may be fully appreciated.

The ‘St Ives’ style frame is hand built in Cornwall without glazing so the textural qualities may be fully appreciated. The frame is made of wood from sustainable forests and painted white. The painting has been protected from UV light and dust with several coats of professional artist varnish.
