This beautiful pink butterfly is not a native British species but can be enjoyed in specialist wildlife and animal centres in the UK.

Originally conceived as a triptych of three butterflies, I have added new butterfly paintings on gold leaf to this series of works, depicting pollinators, highlighting their crucial role and intrinsic beauty
