The textured poppies with blends of cadmium, vermillion and pyrole orange have been softened by delicately desaturating the colours to give soft and subtle shades of orange. The colours contrasts with the light denim blue background to give a striking contrast which works well in many interiors. The white foreground highlights the shadows and fallen petal.
