Using handmade ‘palette knives’ I have painted three dimensional, textured and multi-coloured poppies against a midnight blue background to give not just visual but textural contrast.
My work beautifully framed without glass, so these qualities may be enjoyed and appreciated.

The ‘St Ives’ style wooden frame is hand built in Cornwall without glazing so the textural qualities may be enjoyed. The painting is protected from UV light and dust with several coats of professional artist varnish.
