This original poppies painting in acrylic on board was inspired by my favourite colours - I love pinks and reds against pale blue. This is part of an evolving series of poppy paintings inspired by varieties grown in my garden.

The ‘St Ives’ style frame is hand built in Bristol without glazing so the textural qualities may be fully appreciated. The painting is protected from UV light and dust with several coats of professional artist varnish.
